Merge Images Online — Combine Pictures into One
Merge images online by combining two or more pictures into one file. Choose a horizontal strip or a vertical long image, arrange the photo order, preview the result, and download one PNG or JPG. Each photo keeps its original pixel dimensions; the canvas grows to fit.

PNG preserves transparent pixels. JPG always uses the selected solid background and lossy compression.
Add at least two photos to see the output dimensions.

How to combine two photos into one
- Select two or more PNG, JPG, or WebP photos.
- Choose horizontal to place them left to right, or vertical to stack them from top to bottom.
- Use the order buttons to arrange the photos. Set a gap and choose how differently sized images align.
- Check the output dimensions, select PNG or JPG, and choose Merge images.
- Preview the single result, then download it.
The tool joins full images in sequence; it does not cut them into tiles, blend them together, or resize them. The combined canvas uses the sum of widths for a horizontal strip or the sum of heights for a vertical strip. The other dimension fits the largest photo. Any unused canvas area is transparent in PNG mode when transparency is enabled, or filled with the chosen background.
Example with two different photo sizes
Place a 1200 × 800 photo beside a 900 × 1200 photo with a 24 px gap: the output is 2124 × 1200 px. Stack the same photos vertically with the same gap: the output is 1200 × 2024 px. Neither source is stretched; alignment controls where the smaller dimension sits inside the larger canvas.
Merge pictures on iPhone: side-by-side or a long image
To combine pictures on iPhone, open this page in your browser and select photos from the file picker. Choose horizontal for a side-by-side image or vertical for a long picture, put them in the order you want, and download the result. The page joins the original pixel dimensions instead of forcing every photo into an equal-sized grid cell. Where a downloaded file is saved depends on your browser’s download settings.
Need a regular collage with equal-sized cells, optional spacing, and crop-or-fit controls? Use the image grid maker. This joiner makes a single horizontal or vertical sequence. For the reverse task—splitting one picture into separate pieces—use the image splitter or the image cutter.
Photo joiner questions
What is a photo joiner?
A photo joiner, picture joiner, or image joiner places multiple photos into one output image. This tool joins them in a horizontal row or a vertical column and preserves each source image’s pixel dimensions.
Can I merge two photos side by side?
Yes. Add both photos, choose the horizontal direction, set their order and any gap, then preview and download the combined image. Different heights are aligned within the output canvas without stretching.
Can I make one long image from photos?
Yes. Choose vertical to stack the photos from top to bottom. The output width is the widest source photo, and shorter photos can be aligned at the top, center, or bottom.
Does merging reduce image quality?
The tool draws source pixels at their original dimensions without resizing. PNG uses lossless encoding. JPG uses lossy compression and may change pixel colors; JPG also needs an opaque background.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Your browser reads the selected files and creates the combined image locally. The page does not send the photos to a server for merging. Extremely large combined canvases may exceed browser memory limits and will be refused before export.
