The short version: your images are never uploaded. Splitting happens inside your own browser, so we never receive, see or store your files.
What we collect
- Your images — nothing. The split is done by your browser using a canvas. Files are not sent over the network, not saved on a server, and not backed up anywhere. There is no server-side processing at all.
- Account details — none. There is no sign-up, no login and no profile, so we have no name, password or email attached to your use of the tool.
- Email — only if you write to us. If you contact us, we have the message and the address you sent it from, and we use them only to reply.
What is recorded automatically
Our host, Cloudflare, writes the standard request log that any website produces: IP address, browser and device, the page requested, the time, and the referring page. We use these logs to keep the site online, spot abuse and fix errors. We do not combine them with anything else, and we do not build advertising profiles from them.
Cookies
The tool itself sets no cookies. There are no advertising or analytics cookies installed at the moment. If you follow an outbound affiliate link, that merchant may set its own cookie to attribute a purchase — that cookie belongs to the merchant, not to us.
Affiliate links
Some links leaving this site may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may receive a commission. It does not change the price you pay. We only point at things we have actually used or would use ourselves.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. The only party that handles data on our behalf is our hosting provider, and only as much as is needed to deliver the pages.
How long things are kept
- Images: never received, so there is nothing to keep.
- Server logs: held by our host under its own retention window, then discarded.
- Emails: kept as long as needed to deal with your message, then deleted.
Children
This site is a general-purpose tool and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If any of this changes, this page changes with it. The date at the top always shows the current version.
